Nicely done. The imagery of "gnarled hands" and "unyielding ground" beautifully shares the struggle of digging. I've been there - I can relate! haha. I love how you've captured the difficulty of the work. Great job!

We as humans can be as optimistic as nature when we come together to encourage our plants to grow and I don't these efforts are futile. Farmers are the salt of the earth, I enjoyed your short poem, love Dolly x x x
