I used to think we were too far south until we moved here much more south than Bellingham and now we've seen auroras twice!

When I was in the Air Force, I did two tours in airlift and once crossing the Atlantic I saw them as we approached the Canadian coast. We were at 40,000 feet. They were remarkable.

I am not much of a poet, but this one seems perfect. Patricia has proved to be a salve for the soul of others. No one knows the challenges we must meet in life, but Patricia has been strong in meeting them.

Hello Helen,
this is a delightful poem for Patricia. I haven't followed her, but I heard about her stay in the hospital from Karen Threadgill. I didn't write her a poem, but I did send her an email and let her know I was joining others in praying for her, and she wrote me back. You just never know where God is going to place someone, and the good that can come from every situation. Well done gal.

Poor Pat, I know her well, too. It will be painful for sure. I will have to write one for her, too. Stent surgery is not too bad but it will go all the way to the coronary arteries in the heart. I hear that afterwards, one had to take blood thinner.

Thank you for the super review for this poem for Patricia! I'm so glad you know her. Blood thinners aren't too bad. My husband has been on one for a year now. I am so glad we have these options. Looking forward to your poem! Hugs!
