A cleverly constructed Acrostic poem for this contest. I like that you managed to incorporate regular rhyme into your piece which reduces the sense of artificiality to be found in some acrostics. Perhaps you wished for a 12-letter Acrostic word so the rhyme scheme could be true to the end.
The theme of serendipity is interesting. I recall that it has been explored in a movie of the same title. I wonder if there is a matching word for when chance encounters are NOT the happy kind you describe here.
