This is funny. That must make all of us ghosts. Excellent rhyme in this. I'm sure you could have found a clever picture to go with the poem. Come to think of it, you could be an owl. judi

Bill, Bill, Bill. You never cease to amaze me. Out of nothing you manage to squeeze out something. Sometimes it is a gaseous emission (fart), sometimes it is a groan masquerading as a chuckle. Nonetheless, it is always something. Congratulations.

Well, now that's quite the brash assumption there, isn't it, Sir Bill?! LOL! :-) Another fun one that lends to a smile and a thought... :) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Assuming I'm a ghost... :)

Well, I'm a ghost of the man I used to be, so you're close. I'm afraid if I yelled "boo!" at anyone they'd carry me to the pysch ward. Although, we've become accustomed to many frightening things in this election.

I think I need a break.

Well, I can say boo but I don't think I'm a ghost quite yet. As a poem I think your poem has lots of assonance and all three lines rhyme. Perhaps it was the owl that ate the "coo-ing" bird.
