This is a fine memory of a truly good man who helped you find your feet and confidence in a new land. I love the reference to you gladly walking all the way back to Glasgow. Home sickness can be so difficult to overcome. The experience you had at his hands has enabled you to carry on the good work. Well done for this inspiring story and good luck! Debbie

Thank you Debbie. He was a lovely guy who had a way with kids. I still laugh at the thought that Bill's wife was Myra My parents were also Bill and Myra.

This was a wonderful read! Your connection to the church and the memories of Bill's kindness really shine through. I love how you share that even small gestures can leave a lasting impression. It's beautiful to see how you and your brother are teaching the next generation about faith. Your gratitude for friendship adds such a warm touch to your writing. Your recognition of Jesus role in your life is so wonderful to read.
