Ciao mystery poet, you now have 2 votes.!

I remember freaking out when I saw this film for the first time.

Well the poor lass I think will get a heart attack when she meets mummified mamma , at least I would.

On the "bright" side, nutty Bates won't have to kill her.

He made such a bloody mess in the shower incident.

After seeing Psycho at the age of 12, I was so scared of taking a shower - I only took baths for a whole month! The ending was epic in those days. Mommy issues for sure!

Author,
Your chilling poem is still comical, and fits the contest requirements well.
Can anyone imagine going home with this guy? lol
I saw the movie long ago, but remember it well.
Best wishes,
Cindy

A Psycho! Now that's a date for you, and if you are wise, you had better run...especially when he suggests you meet his mother... Like Lizzie Borden and the axe...You might get 40 sacks.

This is a fun post about the film Psycho as we remember the corpse of Mother and the deranged, murderous son, a chilling post for the contest, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Hello!

You did a very good job with your entry! I am a big Hitchcock fan--and specifically "Psycho"--so I loved this even more! The requested humor is certainly present. Good luck in the contest!

Hmm, very interesting, although, I am shocked Norman's mother let him have any dates. The last time we saw her/him she was very possessive of her sweet and innocent little boy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Now THIS is a great take on this writing prompt! All the others I've read so far today (five) have taken the serious, creepy route. But you chose humor, and it stands out in a positive way. Good luck at the polls, Mystery Contestant!! xoxo

Oh Norman, Norman just crazy enough to date and then it's too late, another bites the dust.
This is a great entry for the writing prompt, captures Bates really well in just 4 lines!
Well done!
