I read this quote just last week:

Anger is how we punish ourselves for someone else's behavior.

Isn't that fabulous? It really drives home the inanity of that feeling, doesn't it?

I liked your strong, visceral approach to describing this destructive emotion. Good work. xo

YOU ARE RIGHT .It could be that.what hits me is that when anger takes over there is no way someone can c ontrol it. I have tried but thd person.has to get it off the chest then comes the regrets.Thank you for this review much appreciated

You've used the volcanic erruption well sanku, likening it to the erruption of anger. Domestic violence plays too big a part in all societies nowadays, and you've done well with the descriptive Cadee poem. Well done,
cheers,
valda

Sanku, I like this poem about anger. Yes, anger can be a a completely wasted energy. Better to calm down and plan a well thought of action. BTW, the painting goes very well with your poem.

One suggestion: It would be good if you explained what a cadae poem is. I looked it up on the net and found it is based on the Pi (3.1415...) How did you use these numbers and how many, since the number is infinite and does not end.

Sanku,
Your explosive words describe very well the horrors and waste of anger. Excellent description of an emotion running rampant in our world.
Nice photo,
Best wishes,
Cindy

Anger is a powerful, but destructive vice that destroys so many...not just the person expressing it, but those who are on the receiving end as well. What a waste of energy!

Since you did not explain the form that I have never heard of, and it is not listed in "Poetry Dances", I had to go look it up. Most places do not list it. It took me twenty minutes to find it on the internet. A simple explanation would be: The cadea honors PI. to the fourteenth place. 3.1415926535897 Fourteen lines each with the amount of syllables each number represents.

Powerful poem with strong words representing anger. I agree that it is such a wasted emotion that is self destructive but also takes down many in its path. No good ever comes of it. Good job expressing this in your poem.

Anger is indeed self-destructive, but it also destroys others. This poem is a very well-written and powerful one, building up to a strong and climactic final stanza. original and different imagery - very pleasing.

Super job with your Cadae poem, Santha. Your description of an outburst of rage likened to a volcano is very true to life. My father had a temper like that and the aftermath left many psychological wounds.

Ciao!

You depicted well this emotion , I love your choice of analogies.

I will take a lot of crap from others but I do have a breaking point.. and that s when all the anger accumulated over time explodes and the effect is cataclysmic.

Words spew like lava and I can't stop.. hours after when I have exhausted myself I start to think what I said and that's when too often I feel regret.

I curse my wicked mouth and wish I could go back and erase things I said.

I do a lot of gesticulating like all Italians do and I need to be loud , slam doors. I care not that neighbours hear me.

I feel like a Tasmanian Devil.
