Hi Monica, It was a shock to me as I read your poem and found out you were not talking about a man, but about your biological mother. Are you adopted? Have you seen your real mother? Hi, Dove. No, I'm not adopted. Actually, I was raised by my bio parents. My mother is still alive. I was actually the only child she did raise and I'm the one here for her and I'm the one she treats the worst. Sorry to hear about your son.

My heart hurts when I read this. It sounds like my daughter in law could have written it. She never felt good enough. Her father died when she was 7 and her mother died shortly after her daughter Morgan. She has gone into a dark place from which there may be no return. Touched my heart. Esther

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter in law. I had my dad until I was 17. My mother is 90 now, and I am the only child here trying to do anything to help her, yet she has always treated me this way.
