Will have to check out the links you sent. Hope all well in your corner of the world. Busy away from FanStory these days. Perhaps, when that slows down, can get back to more activity on this site.

This piece, St. Mary's Changes for the New Airport, note that the largest part of the older facilities have been removed to make room for the modernizations. Motivating and probably a bit nostalgic.

Yeah, thanks for coming by. We are pleased they have kept some of the more precious structures as the old parcels office.

Thank you for sharing this continuation of the upcoming Metro. I'm sure it will be a great asset to the ease of transportation. You did a good job videoing it.

So, it appears that you are documenting history of sorts. One day your writing and videos may be in the historical archives of the city. Well, written and informative. Glad to see a second post. Thank you for adding the video. Gretchen

This is very well written and shows us clearly how their life changes our surroundings change and you have demonstrated it very well in this lovely short chapter. I wish you the very best for your day and may God bless you. Patricia.

Thanks for coming by. They debated about the new airport for years but finally gonna open in a year or so I think and the Metro will have to be ready as well.

Though I am not in your "neck of the woods," it's always nice to hear how progress affects the area (for good or bad) and what others feel about it. Thank you for sharing.

I lived in Penrith, I know St Mary's; today I wouldn't recognise any of it. Used to be an industrial area. Time moves on and more people move to our land. I think the train is a good idea. K xx

Thanks for coming by. Yes, I think the Airpot and the connecting Metro has put St Marys back on the map. for years I thought St Marys was a bit of a dump. Things have certainly changed and will, more so, in a few more years. We live in St Clair and will probably get the planes flying over us, evenually.

We lived in St Clair, my parents in Penrith. Back in 82 there was only a Pub and grassland. I guess it's all built out now. A very hot place in summer!

Our house was built in 82. We bought it in 87. Had we been another 2 months we could not have afforded the house.
I wrote a poem in here about our Good neighbours. The photos will give you an idea where we live.

No, not open yet, Bro. Still a year or two till it opens and of course the Metro will need to be through before the airport opens. Thanks for the great review. I am pleased Tom is happy the way I am doing this now.
