This is such a fun poem. I can see why it won the contest. Your various stanzas pointed out the best -- and not so nice -- characteristics of each pet. I notice you used a different rhyme scheme for each pet. Very cute! Blessings. Carol

Good idea to have both pets talk. This was creative and funny. I chuckled when the bird said, "felines can go to hell."
