Stars tangled in her hair. Wearing a gown of celestial lace
This is fabulous Gypsy! I really like what you've done here. Very poetic and thanks for the author's notes.

Another fine poem, Gypsy....and it got me to thinking (never a good sign!), funny how we bitch and complain how hot it is during summer, and how quickly we miss it when fall weather hits.

I love the idea of stars being tangled in her hair. That gives us a wonderful image. Once again, your talent shines through. This poem is above all the rest. Thank you.

I always learn so much from your notes which complement and inform your poetry so beautifully! Love the embodiment of Ama and her role in the universe, her majesty illustrated vividly in your naani verse. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Interesting. I haven't heard about this goddess. I thought that the name Ama meant "love". I guess it all depends on how the kanji is written. The name meaning "love" is based on the Chinese character for "love." Thanks for sharing.

Amaterasu is the correct full name, I shorted it to Ama because it sounds better for the poem. I wrote it in my author notes but we don't always read it.
I also like, Ama, is the word for love in Spanish.
Thank you very much, big sister. I hope you have a wonderful day. I had a cold for a few days but I'm feeling better.
Love
Marival ❤️
