Some very original phrasing - hugging a cactus-the cold Siberian express and my favourite, the touch of a witches caress - that all help to show the frustration of not finding the love they want. To answer the question, no, love makes our lives better.

A lot of pain and frustration when dealing with what should be a sweet and beautiful thing. Your descriptions are outstanding, showing the deep of the pain... witches caress, hugging a cactus, or love be the death of me. Well done!
