Priceless. Reminds me of a song...Saturday morning confusion. Can't remember who sang it. Sounds like a fairly normal family with the usual chaos. Esther

A new picture, my dear. Very nice!
Now that you mention it, I think I do remember a song like that. Don't ask me the name but I know it was something resembling this chaos.

I wonder how many tales of woe have been made in the name of the household pets, I must admit our girls didn't make any, but they were conscientious souls, I love this great chaotic story about the average family household, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

I liked this story. It was a refreshing change from some of the stories I've been reading lately. And, who could get mad at a puppy, even if he may have been the prime suspect for the squishy substance.

This is one of those cases where the cute little story and the darling picture of the endearingly beautiful pooch will keep a smile on my face throughout the day or longer. Thanks for sharing.

The instant I saw him I shared your feelings. He almost looked just like two little buddies I once had name Max and Mo. One was black, the other grey. :-)

Lol. Well that was certainly a day of chaos and disasters - and yes, poor Snickers shouldn't have to take the blame for every single thing that went wrong. Very humorous!

Carol,
I loved this story. It sounds like my parents' home sixty years ago. Your humor is great, and I can see the sweet expression on the puppy's face.
(My dog then ate a box of crayons and our yard was colorful for a few weeks after).
Nice story, Carol.
Blessings,
and best wishes for a nice week,
Cindy.
Cute photo too.

Yup sounds about right. This started very well, with excellent detail. I was expecting maybe a little more of a punchline or drama by the 2/3 mark, and definitely by the end, to bookend this piece. The only bookend was with the picture, which admittedly is pretty good. What AI engine did you use?

"all-knowing mom look." <= I suggest removing the quotes here, to avoid confusion with the dialogue which immediately follows it, where you do actually need quotes. As a general rule, a paragraph only has one speaker in it, and although you only have one speaker in the paraphrase it makes it FEEL as though there are two (the narrator being the second).

Thanks for the read,

🦍

Cute story! Why does everyone blame the dog? LOL. Dad's first clue should have been that the baby had no diaper. I'm surprised he didn't smell her. Hahaha. The picture is cute. I'm not sure about the story opening, though.
Hugs! Carol

This is such a cute dog story. Or was it a story of a family scrambling through Natural Disaster Day? Lol. Snickers didn't cause any of the family chaos. All he did was have fun with the toilet tissue. You used such an adorable picture.
