Gypsy,
A wonderful poem to welcome Autumn. I'm writing this on my porch feeling the brisk night air as I read this and am cheered up by the upcoming season.
You capture the essence of Autumn so well!
Best wishes,
Blessings,
Cindy

Another fine poem, Gypsy----and isn't it scary and a bit depressing thar fall is here already? Time goes too damn fast, it makes my head spin, I adjust to the season, and it's on to the next

I remember growing up in the Midwest. I could actually smell autumn in the air. I miss that. Thank you for the beautiful presentation and poem. I enjoyed both.

love the rustle and whoosh onomatopoeia - nice imagistic words for the hearing sense
great imagery and smooth flow blowing throughout the lines
the top pic is very cool, too
thank you for sharing

I like how you used the phrase "winds of change" here.
This is a very effective gogyohka poem. It's smooth and has good interconnection between lines.
Thoroughly enjoyed Gypsy.

Hahaha. I love that song you mentioned in the author notes. Winds of change. This was a stunning poem that brought autumn to life for me. The drama of the season that floats in on a gentle breeze only to change the vibrant greens to gold. Beautifully written. Gretchen

Yes, I'm not ready for fall's coming and those whispering winds that build too loudly for my liking! But I admire your poetic interpretation here and, in particular, the evocative "wind of change." Thanks for sharing. Debbie

This is so lovely as every awesome and enlightening word is true. But my favorite is the whispering between... and the wind of change..Very clever.
I have joined you here and there as I do love your clubs and also I want you to know that I included you in my thank you to my friends because I still consider you a very good one. For me that will never change. Take care! I miss you.
Beautiful post, but they all are.

Ooh! I like the "wind of change" and you used so many onomatopoeic words in this poem like "whispering" and "rustle" and "whoosh"! You could have even used one of your favorite words - susurrates instead of whispering but both works well for the personification of Fall.

Change is inevitable, it is something that we all must adapt to. Your point of this fact is very well made through the use of metaphorical phrases.
