Love the yellow! This is exactly the hue scattered scantily about in my area---and as I love Autumn, I know the scarlet and oranges and deep red hues are on their way! (Nice -- with "patterned" and "pebble" ~~ but I wouldn't be me if I didn't mention that!

Karenina,
As my Peanut Gallery member, you know I like to include alliteration in my posts. Pleased you liked the same.

Wonderful Haiku, though the leaves can be quite messy they do offer us color, I like the last line and the pattern of tints it offers, very well written and presented, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

This 5-7-5, Fall is Coming, has the proper word count and creates a scene where the first indications of fall begin to appear on the ground where they stand out.

Very nice, Mark. I love when those bright tints follow but they always disappear way too soon! Fall gives us endless things to write about. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliment Michael. Today, there a few more leaves on the driveway, but warm enough to sit outside comfortably in shorts.
Fall can hold off IMHO.

It is that time of year, isn't it? The leaves are falling earlier here because we have had little rain. Hopefully, the colors will not be faded come October. I like your subtle use of alliteration in this one, Mark.

Thanks Rod for your comments. I will be happy if the warm weather holds on through Indian Summer. Nighttime temps for a few days dropped into the 50s, but daytime temps do require the AC for most days - today not!
As I compose this, there actually a few more leaves on my driveway (-;
