An excellent entry for the Reverse Poem writing prompt. I find this particular poem format to be so difficult. I have been working on a poem for weeks and the fristration gets me everytime I try again. You did an awesome job with this one. Good luck in the prompt.

Hi Jessica
This is really great. Very intense when read either way. I have no idea how you can do this. When I try I fall flat on my face.
You've done exceptionally well and I think will do well in the contest.

good reverse poem answering the question in the immortal 80's song.
Should I go or should I stay? You answered the question with a resounding yes you should stay

Well done with this reverse poem, Jessica. It looks like a difficult form that you have mastered well and tell the story from two different ways. Well done,
Cheers

Really really like this a lot. Read it first bottom-up and thought "this is good". Then read it top-down. Now maybe I'm strange (maybe?) but I like it better top-down. It cuts sharp and deep top-down.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

-Good artwork and presentation, Jess.
-You did a good job with the form and topic.
-I read it both ways and both work well.
-The first reading describes a woman
who won't change her ways or
turn around and look back because
she has nothing to give.
-Reading from the bottom, the opposite
takes place from her viewpoint.
-She is still in love with him and
doesn't want him to go.
-She has "more to give" and
she could never walk away.
-Very well done. Good luck in the contest.

These reverse poems are amazing and yours is beautiful. I always think they won't make sense in reverse and yet.... It makes perfect sense. Very nicely done.

Blessings

Reading it both ways really highlights the internal struggle between wanting to push someone away and the deeper longing for them to stay. The "walk away" version feels full of pain and resignation, while the reverse gives such a vulnerable and heartfelt plea for love and connection. I love how it flips the entire emotional meaning when read bottom-up, showing the complexity of the feelings involved.

This was a very, very difficult contest and you have fulfilled its demands so effectively! A wonderfully written poem from both directions. Should do extremely well!

This reverse poem, Turn Around, has the proper formatting and seems to make the same plea back or forth that the relationship's ending is not a mutual agreement.
