hope you have some slippers, I think we can/will all relate to these words, especially those with an outhouse as the cold approaches, very well written and presented****kahpot

Lol. Well, when "nature calls" you have to rush, especially if it's an urgent call. I like how you start out with a feeling of being out camping in the cold winter outside and surprise us with the tile floor!

You're definitely on a roll, Gypsy, and here's another one that made me chuckle! Love the way the middle line connects with the first and third and you manage to send that chill right through me. Well done! Debbie

I understand what you meant by nature calling, but it reminded me of a story. My second baby was an infant, and I was up walking the floor with him in the middle of the night. A blanket of snow covered the ground, and it was cold. The moon was full or at least close to full. I heard a horrible howl out the window. We lived on a farm out in the middle of nowhere in Missouri. Walking down the middle of the snow-covered road was a pack of maybe 7 or 8 wolves. It was scary even though I was inside.

So many of us, if not all, have experienced this as nature calls. When nights are chilly, it sometimes fell unfair to respond to its call. But what is the alternative? When certain things in life call, we must respond. Beautifully written.

Sometimes I have to rise for a nature call, and being as warm as toast in bed, I remove my socks and warm feet on cold floors isn't the best thing to experience, well done. Gypsy, great write, blessings Roy

In California we have cold Winters and the tile floors get very cold. I think it's the opposite in Australia. 😊
Thank you very much Roy

No, exactly the same, ours is Mediteranean as is yours, up north is tropical in Australia, gum trees are Aussie natives, you grow them there

Oh, thanks, good to know. I grow up in Spain which is next to the Mediterranean.... I love that sea. I live in California, USA, now and our sea is the pacific. 😊
