Jessica,
This heartfelt poem is poignant and very sad.
..."yet silence falls" ...and still upon his knees." are such powerful words.
You describe sadness and loss so well.
Excellent poem in tribute to Nomi and his beloved.

A beautiful tribute to Yvonne and nomi in a sonnet form poem. Such a comfort to know that she is with God and that one day they will be reunited.
Very comforting chapter.
Blessings

Darn I just wrote out a whole review here and I slipped away for a second to find out if it was a niece or nephew that you just had and it disappeared so I have to start over again. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I waited to review until today so I could give you much deserved six. I didn't give them to anybody else but oh well your poem is so gorgeous. It describes so much of what Nomi is going through, I bet he really loved it. Thank you again for doing this and for joining the book. This will be so comforting to nomi and his family. Beautiful poem, honey and thank you again for taking the time to do this when you were so busy with your new niece. And by the way, congratulations again. I hope you enjoy her.
PS I normally don't tell you when I have something new out because you always know that I always have something new all the time, right? But the last one was thank you to my friends for National Thank You Day so everybody has a line in there and you have a special line so that's the only reason why I am telling you about it. Love you please take care. God bless, Debi.

Your well-chosen, beautiful words are uplifting, filled with hope, calm, and inspiration. The loss of a spouse after so many years together, is devastating. Fortunately, there are poets like you, who can express sincere condolences in rhymes that can lift the spirits of the bereaved. Thank you for your thoughtful words for Nomi.

What a beautifully written poem, depicting the weight of grief, while honoring the love and faith that sustain him. I love the line "Yet darkness won't prevail, for she's the light.

An excellent sonnet in support of our colleague and friend in his time of great sorrow. Thank you for taking the time to compose this elegy for Nomi and his wife. I'm sure he will find the poetic responses from people here a comfort as he grapples with his loss and makes his way through the next weeks and months and years.

We never really lose those we love, they are still with us in spirit...that is my belief. This poem make me cry, that doesn't happen to me often. I just felt so emotional reading it.

Hello Jessica,
A wonderful sonnet for Nomi, with beauty and grace.
All the marvelous elements of a Shakespearean sonnet
combine with an outstanding couplet to send comforting
message to a fellow Fanstorian.
I'm sure Nolan appreciates every word.
Best wishes to all.
Robert

Hi Jessica,
This is a poignant sonnet about the grief Nolan feels after the death of his wife. The love will always be there and at times he will hear her voice.
All these poems will help him to travel through his grief knowing he is not alone.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Joan
