Now this is special, Pat. "Right on target" imagery (pun intended). And I love how the 9 lines form an arrowhead. Very creative. Well done. How did you come up with the quiver analogy? And the "now they face the target, learning how to live, and we, as grandparents, yearning for them to achieve their goals." I can relate.
I can't compete with your numbers (Congratulations!!!). But maybe someday. I have 6 grandchildren.
I love this.

    Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I learned the quiver idea from reading it in my Bible someplace it talks about children are like Arrows in a quiver that we use when we are doing archery.

A lovely photo Patricia and I like how you use the bow and arrow and the full quiver of family in this nonet. Quite a full bunch with 7 grandies and 9 great grandies. A lovely presentation.

You are fortunate to have such a large family. I have one married daughter but no grandchildren. Your beautiful nonet poem expresses the words of a loving grandmom and great grandmom. May all your wishes for your family come true.

Patricia, This is a very nice and well written nonet poem you have penned about your quiver being full. You used very good descriptive words and a very lovely photo of you. We still have only one grandson. Only the Lord knows if we will ever have another grandchild.
