When these things happen I wonder if anything we say will help. When my momma died I just got online and wrote poems about her, and nostalgia stories, and that is how I coped. Oh, yea, and I killed off men on here, that always perks me up. Good writing. Karen

Hi Dolly, I am just seeing this beautiful poem for Nomi. It is as touching as it is lovely and is one more piece to the puzzle that will give him comfort when he needs it. I know he is looking forward to printing all of these for his family as well.
My favorite verse is priorities soon change when we are lost inside such grief, and linking hands with you and me is always very brief. Virtual Six!!

Thank you Debi for your intuitive review and kind words. We are all familiar with grief and everyone suffers in different ways but we have an underlying empathy for our fellow men in this regard. Although we have never met Nomi, we understand the impact losing a partner has on a family and in particular himself and our prayers are with him at this time. There are no words to express when we lost the people we love and to see others grief. I do know everyone grieves differently and it others long to heal enough to keep on living. I love your poem, I can feel the pain reading each word. Great job Dolly!
