No need to apologize, my friend, for writing such a wonderful poem, to be added to the others..I'm sure he will appreciate your kindness...
Your words only make it more emphatic what I've known for more than thirty years...
Our loved one's are only here for a time, but there will be a forever soon.
Thanks for sharing this beautifully written poem with us...
Blessings...
Warmly,
Victoria

You're very welcome, Roy, this poem was very touching, it reminded me of a most difficult time in my life...That was when my Richard left us in final sleep...Indeed an empty space,,but just for now...
Blessings,
Victoria

Thank you for sharing your poem for Nolan. He will appreciate that you offer the hope and assurance of his being with her again in eternity while accepting the pain and tears of his loss.

Roy,
This is a great poem for Nolan. In his great pain, there is light and hope in the afterlife. I believe love never dies -- it's just transferred from Earth to Heaven. It's like a bridge to Heaven. I've lost people in my life -- and I still love them very much. I know they're experiencing respite from rough lives, and eternal joy.
Wonderful poem, Roy.
You really capture the emotions of grief, hope, and happiness.
Blessings,
Best wishes,
Cindy

I think Nomi has touched each of our hearts in a special way through the years. I know he has touched mine over and over again. Thank you for sharing this comforting poem with us. His family and him are in my prayers.

Roy,
This is a beautiful poem to complement those that have gone before, and hand-in-hand with the last one you wrote. You have a perspective many of us don't have, you're a man. You can reach places of his heart with you poem, we can't trod.
You remind him of the promises that time is just an illusion, and that he will get to see her again one day.
Take care,
Rhonda

I like that you've written this from Nolan's point of view. One little fix needed: God provides a place for (us). A good emphasis on future togetherness at the end. Good scriptures also. Blessings. Carol

I don't think you have to apologize for showing your love and support to a friend through this sorrowful time. Your poem was beautiful and so very true. We will all be reunited when the time is right. Beautifully written. Gretchen

Wow Roy! What a powerful poem about a powerful and sad subject. I guess we will all get to meet Mr. Death some time. Not a day we look forward to, but what can we do? Keep up the great work Roy!

Beautifully written poem that speaks of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. We are assured that Jesus has conquered death and has opened a way to life eternal. As Christians we live and due in this hope. Your words are comforting and true, and given in love to a dear friend in his grief.

Deserving of a six or more! You took my breath with the first stanza and turned the faucets on in my eyes...I am so glad you did write another one for Nomi. He says they'd talked of the moment but thought he would leave first. It doesn't matter because there is no preparation for the last goodbye..... She waits for him with open arms, and he knows that, even though for now, his heart is heavy. I pray all the prayers and poems will lift him until they meet again.
Hugs, Carol
