Those were the good old days: Abbott and Costello, Redd Foxx, and The Three Stooges, just to name a few - of my favorite comedians I still enjoy today. There's nothin' like classic comedy - in my opinion. Nice job, from just a prompt.

This is a informative and nicely rhymed poem about Red Skelton. I didn't know all this about him but I do remember his well. He was a lot of fun to watch. Was he the one who did the character Clem Kadiddlehopper?

This is really a great and novel use of the prompt with the theme being the color RED, and the final line really sums up the appreciation - its a virtual bio of the person.

Of course, I am of an age that I can remember him, but I'm sure many here will not. He always made me laugh, even though there was always something about him that seemed sad.

I used to love the Red Skelton show. I remember the hobo, the seagulls he used to portray. He had clean and wholesome humor that appealed to all ages. He and Carol Burnette were two of my favorite comedy shows. Thank you for unearthing this memory for me. Gretchen

I loved Red Skelton, he had a rubbery face that he could make one laugh very easily, he'd cross his eyes, reset his face and that was enough to make him the funniest, good natured performer of his day, beautifully written, blessings Roy

A great entry for this prompt! It's almost a take off on "What's My Line". Not sure if "Red" did that one or not but this is a nice tribute to the man and celebrity we remember as "Red".
