I think I will wait until you have written it all. And read it one weekend. With murder and suspense I hate to have to stop in midstream. You enjoy the week ahead. I have a love more reviews to do. Karen

Oh, wow Carol. So, you are writing a book and these are the chapters. Well, now I see. I did not realize it was a book. I thought you were just writing daily lol!. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!

Hello, Harry! Spirited Justice is the sequel to Unfinished Brushstrokes. My imagination got carried away one day. I always have written mystery/crime but never with ghosts. I surprised myself because it is fun. Then for my own selfish pleasure, I write the short stories that warm my heart and I hope the hearts of my readers. Thank you so much for all the support.

Well, I've been right there glued to my seat and reading; so, I didn't need the refresher. But I read it anyway, why not? I mean, you took the time to write it, and the only thing that could happen is that I might have found something I'd missed. But I don't miss much. Thanks for sharing.

I bet you don't miss much! LOL I wasn't sure whether to post the summary this way but I've had so many say they are glad I did as a refresher that makes me happy.
    Smiles to you!

This is a great way to summarize your book, Carol. I haven't got round to reading the very early chapters as I came in a bit late, so it was great to get a summary of what had previously happened. I can't wait to read more of your book.

I had several people join the story several chapters in and another one who is just joining and she asked if I could summarize. I decided a refresher course never hurt any one. Thanks so much.

Great idea to catch up those who may be jumping in midstream...

I'd still encourage them to circle back as they have time for the sheer joy of your writing...

You are such a sweetheart! I'm thankful I get the few readers that I get, but the more the merrier! If the summary encourages someone new to start to read...I will be so happy.

With writing like yours you should have dozens and dozens of readers for each chapter!

Now you've got me rolling on the floor laughing!

The reason I don't ever make the Book of the Month Club is you have to make All Time Best...which doesn't happen because I don't have enough readers.

I am so glad you did this. You have so many people involved in this story, and it isn't as if we are sitting down reading a book, this really helped get the story in perspective. I've read every chapter but discovered some relationships I hadn't noted.

Yes, it would be so much easier if you could just start and read and know what's happening as you move forward. Starting and stopping besides reading others inbetween is nerve racking for sure. Glad it helped. thank you so much for the awesome stars.

Thank you for this helpful summary. Even though I have read every chapter, the storyline is complex, and has a lot of characters, including ghosts, and there are a number of people who oscillate between bad and good. So it was good to have a refresh of the main points. Well done.

I am glad that it helped you too. I know you have followed faithfully but because there are so many moving parts it's kind of nice to summarize things quickly. Thanks again!

Thanks so much, Roy! I know you have read all the chapters but a few have just jumped in and I thought it might help...especially if it means I pick up an extra reader or two. You are awesome.

I enjoyed reading this summary, as it refreshed my memory of all the adventurous details of the story. I am, however, concerned about newcomers, and hope there are many. I have just 3 tweaks to help new readers understand who some of the characters are when they are named in the summary for the first time.

In Chapter 1, (could be re-worded) Danni, a ghost, gets transported from her current theatrical residence to the morgue, where she joins forces with Detective Donatelli. The man on the slab is Arthur Beckett, a prominent attorney and shady backstage investor with the pageant. Naomi is his law partner.

Chapter 9, When Johan is first mentioned, new readers need to know he is the young gentleman in a German University sweater, mentioned in Chapter 6.

Chapter 14, New readers need to know Eleanor's favorite FBI Agent is Garth Woodman. The cast of characters is not included with this summary (and doesn't need to be), so it helps new readers as they read the chapter summaries.

You are such a dynamic writer that I hope I'm not being insulting by making suggestions based only on my opinions.

Can I hire you as my proofer before I send this story in to a publisher? the other one is there now...and I am expecting a call in abut an hour...Pins and needles!!! You support me and boost my ego over and over. I can't thank you enough....I am going to try to take these suggestions and change things.

    You are awesome!

I am happy to help, and glad you thought my suggestions were beneficial. I'm also glad to know you have a publisher. You will have to tell us all about it. You are such a phenomenal writer, I have to say a prayer for your success.

I've kept it secret because I am so afraid to jinx myself. I mentioned it to you and now I was expecting a call an hour ago and nothing...not a text, an email or anything. Just silence! I can't stand this!

Even though I've read every chapter of your book so far, by reading your summary, I realize I have forgotten a few important details. I think this was very helpful, and I appreciate your taking the time to write it. Blessings. Carol

thank you, Carol. It was exactly what I was hoping for because there have been so many twists and turns in the story it is easy to forget things. I'm thrilled that it helped as you go forward now.

And the reader can refer back to your summary later, to check details if needed. I think it's quite helpful.
