Excellent tanka for the contest poet. "She dresses the trees anew" is a great line!
May I suggest that your last two lines interconnect somehow.
Perhaps "Each leaf she lovingly paints so all is drenched in splendor" I sponsored this contest so I feel obliged to help. I've written many tanka.
