This is an excellent easygoing tanka mystery poet.
I created this contest and have written many so if I may suggest, put down something a bit more exotic than cats and dogs and trees. Maybe a dragon or another more fanciful object.

This was a lovely poem for the contest. You got the syllable counts right, too. I think a blue background would have been better, but that's just my opinion. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This tanka, I See Clouds, has the proper formatting and reminds me of the song. "It's clouds' illusions I recall..." Still, even as a kid, we looked for happiness in the clouds.
