Interesting! A handful of duos have some serious surprises ahead! Alejandro and Jose are enjoying their dream--but nothing is going to be easy as accessing a safe deposit box. There are hard lessons to be learned there!
The mentor/mentee relationships between Eleanor and Danni are, interestingly, uncovering that even the spirit world has rules !
And of course, our two macho men...
Both battling demons, neither ready or willing to cede to the other... But you've introduced the concept of a truce...perhaps even a partnership!
Your dialogue is priceless. I love being a fly on the wall taking this all in!

Alejandro and Jose are standing in the wings as we speak.... A lot of action is going to go down and most of it isn't going to be good. And Eleanor and Danni (she's a lot like Matthew with a slight chip) will be a good team.
then of course we have Garth and Matthew...what's not to like about those two? They are going to work through this one way or the other if Eleanor has anything to say about it.

That was a chilling section between Alejandro and Jose. It made me wonder just how they're going to achieve their aims and if they will succeed. I'm really excited to find out. Another excellent chapter, Carol. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Good that Carlos overheard his son and his plans. I can't see that impersonating Beckett will be an easy job for Alejandro. It does sound positive that Garth and Matthew are at last starting to talk together. They so need to work together on this. Well written.

Jose and Alejandro will discover nothing goes as easy as they plan. And Garth and Matthew are about to settle their differences and discover maybe they aren't so far apart after all. Just posted Chap 23... hope you enjoy.

I forgot about Sandra's "powers". I didn't know what to call a council that decided what ghosts could do or not do so I just called the powers that be.... thanks for the review amd comments. I appreciate it very much.

I would have swore (forgive me) that I corrected that one. I think the ghosts are having fun with my mind. LOL I hope the two men make peace as well... they could accomplish so much together.

What a pleasure to see you again, Michael. I missed you at my birthday celebration and so many of our friends were there. i'm sure you would have enjoyed meeting a few of my dear characters as well. LOL
Thank you so much for your kindness and comments on the characters. My hope is that they become almost three dimensional (but not necessarily friends) to my readers. Eleanor is a favorite... someone I would like to be if I were a ghost... though not just yet thank you.
