Very nice use of metaphors to accomplish what the contest doesn't want directly addressed and many of the reader on FanStory too. I think you have a solid entry, and I see no reason this poem will place high, if not win. The passionate love story is good as is the poetic structure.

Wow! the picture alone sets a fire to the page, but your words turn the heat up full blast. It's beautiful and filled with passion, but the best part is the ending... because it's just not the heat of the moment that inspired the poem, but the love that gave the hearts wings. Awesome! If I had a six it would most definitely be yours.
