This rispetto, Perspectives, has the proper formatting and reminds us that others' advancements are not our concern. We have a mission that should pull all our attention.

That's right! Now if only I can convince my grandkids to stop comparing with one another...Thanks so much, Bill!

It's better to give my worries to God but sometimes I fall on old habits.

Today is grandmother day at Atticus school and I went. I was nerves but everything worked out great. I woke early and prayed.

Great rispetto poem and presentation.

Love

Yes, it was a lot of fun. The sang a lot of French songs for us, they were so cute. I video taped it but the file is too large to attach, I wish you could see it.

He cried a little, he wanted me to stay all day.

I felt bad for the kids without grandparents.

An interesting and well-written poem about perspectives prompted partly by the origami miniature. Extraordinarily clever. Praying too for Debi as she continually battles these eye issues.

So many different perspectives, but if we try, we might be able to take a little bit of many and make even a more complete assessment. But then again with some, maybe not. LOL. Thanks for the heads up about Debi. I'll add her to my prayer list and I hope she will be better soon. Thanks for sharing.

Your spiritual poetry is always so calming and peaceful. The thoughts of God abiding in our praise encourages us to relax in Him and accept His healing.

Debi is such a good friend who always has words of encouragement for everyone, including me. We share similar medical specialists, some for different reasons. I am joining you in prayer for her speedy, full recovery of clear sight.

Thank you for praying, Lorraine! It means so much to me and to Debi! I know you have your own daily battles and admirably handle it while writing. I wish I could hear you play and sing!

Yes, eyesight is so very important and I'm learning to live without it. It is a daily adjustment Day and Night as my retinitis pigmentosa attacks the rods and cones of the retina that are responsible for peripheral and central vision and the light receptors in my retina. My depth perception is terrible. Every day I can see a tiny bit to write or to do anything, I rejoice!

Yes, I'm very concerned about Debi and have been sending her prayers and words of comfort several times a day. She is in good hands and we must keep praying for the best outcome. The Lord is our healer and our waymaker in every situation.

Psalm 23 for Debi and anyone who may need it:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I encourage everyone to pray this and put your name or the person's
name in this beautiful psalm. I going to put Debi Marquette's in today.

The Lord is Debi's shepherd, she will not want
He makes Debi lie down in green padtures
He leads her beside still waters
He restores Debi's eye, health and soul.
He leads her in the path of righteousness
For His name's sake.

Even though she walks in the valley
of the shadow of death
Debi will fear no evil,
For You are with her.
Your rod and shepherd's staff bring comfort
You prepare a table before her
In the presence of her enemies.
You anoint Debi with holy oil;
Her cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy follow Debi
ALL THE DAYS OF HER LIFE
And she will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever!
Amen! Amen!

Love to all,
Sal XOs

This is a very good line of advice. My friend who has had three strokes has to do this now. She's the one who's in the book Traffic. She's ADD HD. It feels like annoyance when she has to rest. Her husband and I are like puddles next to her she's like a rushing stream. But she does seem to be learning from us do you have to rest.
She's very religious so she is doing as you suggest.

Thanks a lot for this poem for Debi Marquette. She is such a nice person and an accomplished poem. I will pray for her. She will need her eyes to write more poems.

Well done.

Hi Helen! I really love this poem of faith. Its message is clear and well developed. God does indeed inhabit the praises of His people. I love the artwork, and the story behind it. Thanks, as well, for the prayer for Debi. My prayers join yours and all the others around the world.
