I don't like the idea of Grandma's hands being if frigid winds, but unfortunately, it's part of the world we live in. Our elderly should be taken care of. Often, they are cast aside. Thank you for sharing this very real poem and presentation with us.

This is so evocative of cold, stiffness and pain as grandma's hands seem to blend into nature's magnificent distortions and weather-battered form. I'm quite mesmerised by your visual and the whole presentation is a delight. Thanks for the share, Gypsy. Debbie

I can see the connection between an old gnarled tree and and the gnarled hands of the elderly. So it's a really good satori line Gypsy, I Was a bit puzzled for awhile, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Brr! Frigid winds in winter means this grandma will have cold hands, too!!
In tai chi class, we clasp each other's hands to say thank you at the end of class. I always shock the others with my frigid hands!
