I was hoping Garth and Matthew would find a way to tun into each other without running one another over. (smile) --
The two of them need to smooth things over and I'll bet together they can find get to work solving this case with many moving parts!
I know NOTHING about prose but this sentence jumped out at me as being less than crisp:
"circling the table while Klaus's eyes stared at him."
Dare I suggest we assume it is Klaus's eyes and maybe just say "Klaus stared at him" ---???
(Yikes, I'm out of my league!)

You may dare to tread across my story any time you feel like it.... though watch out for bobbie traps or you might fall through to another story waiting in the wings...LOL You are right and its an easy fix. Thank you!

It's good that Garth is willing to work with Eleanor at least. His parting shot and Danni's reminding Matthew about his drinking problem seems to be softening him. I wonder why he's so adamant about Naomi's innocence. Seems like two men are interested in her .

I think he gave up on Allie and now believes it's a pattern if he gives up on Naomi... his mind is foggy with the alcohol, but that's about to clear up I think.... and maybe a budding romance down the line.

Hey, dear friend...How kind of you! I just finished writing and posted the next chapter. I've never published before, but I am in the process with Unfinished Brushstrokes..so I hope it goes well. This was an interesting exchange. Garth and Donatella aren't exactly best buddies. I don't remember Allie dying of cancer. I don't remember Allie dying. Did Garth have to women he was in love with die? I don't think I remember him and Allie getting married. Maybe I'm mixed up. I know that was another story. I should probably stick to this one.

Allie and Garth were engaged in one of the stories, but I never intended her to be in any of these so I needed to write her out before my readers started asking for her.

He will soon and I think I will introduce a love life or at least the beginnning of one to help change his mood. And as soon as I can get him sitting down with Garth on neutral ground, I think they will work things out. At lest that's the plan.

I think that steak and some talk...even if Eleanor has to get into the act...is going to get them on the right track to solving this case.

I think Matthew and Garth will get together soon....right after Donatelli gets done interrogating Klaus and Johan. He shoul find out some interesting information.

Donatelli is about to patch things up with Garth and that will be much better for both of them. They both have broken hearts and fighting will never bring Allie back. They need to work together.
