I love this poem. I like poems that rhyme and have meter. I especially like them if they make me smile, and this love story had all three criteria! I like the metaphor of being caught int Love's Web in the last stanza. I also like the ... I dunno what it's called... but it's like describing something with something that is unrelated but using it like an analogy. "Confidence dripped from hour lips." Is it personification? Anthropomorphism? I dunno. There's a word for it, but I cannot think of what that word is!

I love how your poem shares the evolution of a relationship from initial annoyance to deep affection. The clever rhymes are perfect. I love the humor in your poem. The ending was perfect. For me your poem shares how love can surprise us in the most unexpected ways!

Very interesting. It is so weird that you saw and felt self-confidence as a bad thing in a man, while it is so championed and praised of quality if held by a female. But, in the end it all worked out. A moving and personal entry.
