You are the king of this medium, no questions about it. I can do 2D acrostics on a time limit but sonnets are tough and keep me up all night. To do this in an hour is very impressive. And to write the whole thing about the circular minutiae of creating the work itself, another signature speciality of yours. Some will laugh. Some will cry. Some will puke a little in their mouth while eating their daily allotment of prunes. That, methinks, is what makes thee write.

a prompt to temp that task. <= did you mean "tempt"?

Thank you for the awesome review and for catching the goof, friend. Okay, it actually took an hour and ten minutes. Lol. That's mainly because I had to find a usable flask to add to the picture. Haha
I really appreciate the stop in, friend.

A fine Sonnet for the contest and your metre and rhymes are spot on and I enjoyed the sentiment. A good entry for the contest and I wish you luck, this is a skilful poem from a talented pen. Love Dolly x

I thought this was well written. I love your word choices and the thought that clearly went into your poem. It's a remarkable reflection on the poetic process and I also think the need for time. Well done!
