Heh heh, Beth clever, of course we may never know that very idea you've had, twenty four syllables isn't very long, I just read a couple of works that were very long, but could've taken far less, great job, blessings and good luck, Roy

I like your sense of humor - writing a poem about writing a poem that meets the syllabic requirements for the contest. You met the 24 syllables perfect and showed us a cute picture, too. Best wishes in the contest!

I got a laugh out of this poem. This was so fun and funny! It's one thing to express something in twenty-four syllables, but to express expression is something else. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

cute poem, but I swear, I have counted this several times and I still come up with 23 syllables - unless you're giving Idea three syllables. am going to google the word and inquire as to number of syllables. Be right back. :)
well, as you knew very well, you are right! very good!

LOL! You scared me for a minute there--I counted it so many times. Thanks for your thorough review, I appreciate it.

well, I bet I said "idea" 3 or 4 times, but I pronounce it like the "ea" in dear - one syllable. but I can see it with 2. :)

Heh, this is well engineered to win the contest. Making fun of the contest + a smart cat + large text? All you're missing is a reference somewhere to God, and you should be golden. Thanks for the read,
