LOL! This was a great poem! I love it. How the innocence of a child can light up a room and send everyone into laughter! A nice poem with a great message. Keep up the good work!

ahh the words of innocent child who say the darkness things at time. I like the image chosen as it reflects the poem's whimsical and poignant mood very well

An excellent entry for the Precious Memory contest. It makes perfect sense that if you have a hitch on your car you are perfectly able to take whatever you want with you wherever you go lol Very cute story put in rhyme form. Good luck in the contest.

This is a good entry for the Precious Memory poetry competition. I love stories of the funny sayings young children make in their innocent misunderstandings. I have saved a bunch from my daughter and grandson that I read through once in awhile and chuckle about. Your nephew's is so cute. Nicely done!

Good luck with your entry. I am surprised how so few found the challenge of interest. Yours is the only one so far though there are three ithers under construction. That said I was reminded of a memory I'll take to pen.

Hi
I like this poem about the things that come from the mouths of babes. Thinking that things are the same in death as they are in life. I like the way you use the ungrammatical way the children speak in your quote.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great day

Innocence through the eyes of a child! They see things so differently than we do. Your poem was adorable and a pleasure to read. Thank you for the smile.

Through the eyes of the innocent... Yes, when you have a hitch you can drag anything to your afterlife. The Pharaoh did it, why can't we?
I can imagine this being a memory of a wonderful moment in time.
Well done. Best for the contest.
