I like the way your poem leaves itself open to various interpretations, althought the painful separation from a loved one is clearly central.
I have a nagging feeling that the piece might be stronger if the pills were somehow tied in more clearly. As it stands they could be any random pills, but if they were somehow part of the pain, or part of the reason for the separation it might feel more complete.
