When someone puts themselves out there enough to share their dream and the other person isn't who they thought they were it can seem like the end. Thank you for sharing this entry with us and good luck with the contest.

When a romance ends, and dreams of ever after are shattered, it can be devestating, for a while, until we find our ever after. Nicely done with the eight words you've used in this one Heather. Good luck in the contest,
cheers,
valda

This one-line poem, End of it All, uses eight words and seems to show regret that a romance ended with a premature parting which left a void to be filled with sadness.

Indeed, Maria Jose. This monostich just says it all. All her dreams were shattered when she had to share her dreams with someone else. Not what she'd imagined. Ulla xcx

BOO is reading...oh, a One-Line Poem. Shimmery and shattered an unique blend of an alliteration. I will push play, the video below. Learning to dance in the rain is an interesting concept. The picture and background color match perfectly. You must choose words wisely, and you did that! A breakup or losing a loved one is always depressing. I wish you luck in this contest!

It's a crying shame when people are discouraged by put downs, all people deserve to be be encouraged and lifted up, God loves all people equally, we shouldn't climb up on others. Beautifully written Maria, , blessings Roy

This one-liner opens up possible different interpretations depending on what was shared. Perhaps the "shimmery dreams" were shared with someone and just by telling the dreams, they were "shattered." Or perhaps those dreams of relationship were shattered when shared with someone who did not reciprocate the love? Either way it works with great alliteration. Best wishes in the contest!

I was thinking of the second option, but it doesn't matter much.
Thanks so much for reading.
