You are such a fantastically creative creature! I can't fathom how you continuously come up with such fantastically artistic words and always perfectly match the colors and pictures.
Well-done!

The emptiness when you are the one left, when there's onely
a chest full of dismal night (great line Gypsy)
and the aloneness of grief are beautifully portrayed in this emotional poem.
A stunning presentation, well done.
cheers,
valda

This gogyohka, What Will I Do?, has the proper formatting and finds the one left behind pining for the mate who has crossed over to the other side. ...

Hi MariVal,
well, it's has certainly been a moment... and here I am been slapped in the face with such a powerful opening verse. Should I have thought anything different would occur? :))
Yes, it sat me back made me stop for a bit and actually demanded my reflection to this kind of emotional pain of loss.
And what a way to bring this Gogyohka poem together with such an undying connection to the thin veil sitting separating us from other side.
You have a magic way of producing beauty within loss and pain... a truly beautifully presented and composed piece of art my dear MariVal.
With our thoughts we create...
a view through.
Warmest regards,
James.

James! I am so happy you came by. I was thinking about you and Jade. I hope you are both well and happy. Thank you for the exceptional six stars review.
I never know what my muse will come up with. 😊 I am happy this one resonated with you. If I had to write and perform 'spoken word' for two people, it would be you and Helen. Every night I pray for you and your families.
What can I say, you always get me and my poems.
Besitos y abrazos,
MariVal

I love the story of Charon, the ferryman, who took the souls from the worl of the living to the underworld of the dead, where presumably were peaceful. A beautifully written post Gypsy, blessings Roy

This was kind of romantic but in a spooky or more Gothic vibe. The river Styx definitely made me think of mythology and the dark stories like that. But it did have that romantic longing. Whatever you intended I lived it. Gretchen

This poem is very abstract. I did feel grief as I read of a love lost, maybe the person left, I didn't get a death connotation. However, the flow and the presentation are beautiful.

I had someone else tell me there was no contest. I thought the chapters were a contest as well because they have the book of the month contest. I'm sorry.

Really love this one Gypsy. You just keep getting better and better.
Phrases like "veiled with elusive dusk" and "weaved with ethereal twighlight" are what makes this great!
Bravo
Be well

wow, do i love this part...
I'll cry dry tears by the riverbank
knowing your body rests
on the other side
weaved with ethereal twilight
it says so much with the chosen words and what lies between the words...
very nice double gogyohka!
thank you for sharing!
