Nicely done! Your story paints a ckaer picture of Aunt Joan. I could see her with. The dialogue between Aunt Joan, Betty, and Sue was terrific. . Joan's reflections on her lifegive us a view of aging and how you can adapt to what life throws at you. The way you bring Joan's character to life is both entertaining and thought provoking.

I thought you did a great job of the dialogue in this piece, which to me sounded really well written and natural. I liked how you conveyed the grandmother's stories about her early life, this is something I'm sure many of us can relate to. A well written piece. I enjoyed reading it.
