Not quite sure how this poetry contest has somehow ended up with your poem appearing on the prose side of the aisle. never mind.
Your poem flows smoothly with good rhyme and great iambic meter making it easy to read. I'm not sure why you abandoned the usual end rhyme and formatting into aabb stanzas which may have made the verses more clearly presented.
I did like the gentle humour behind the poem and the slight suspense of the traditional waiting up for Santa tale. Yes, Bill, Santa Claus is real!
Good luck in the contest with the misleading name. I'm glad nobody got naked here!

Very well done. Never was much of a believer in Santa because things were just too skinny when I was a child. Well written, very real kid feelings and hope you do well.
