No matter the fancy clothes, or make up, or pretend one does, one can't hide ugly. It will always come out. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. Good luck with the contest.

Wow, that was a powerful statement, and you got your point across using just eight words. The picture helped, as well. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Hi, Alons

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that.

The purpose or message in this poem is pretty obvious.

My only question is whether you're talking about the inside or the outside when you're talking about pretty

Many people are pretty on the outside and they get a lot of attention and claim for that. But the people who are pretty on the inside, takes a lot longer for people to see the beauty. And there's some people who won't look at all that they just look for the physical beauty and they don't even consider the emotional or inner beauty.

So that's what I would say is the question in this poem

Otherwise you got your message across extremely well

I enjoyed reading your poem

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for your review, Pamusart. You made me ponder.... And I guess I'd have to say that the speaker within the poem is likely referring to being "pretty" on the inside. But yes, other entities besides the speaker of the poem might still think a thief is "pretty." Also, the thief may disagree with the speaker entirely also. But the poem is not told from the thief's perspective. Thanks for your thought-provoking question!
