This is a cute rant, and I like the fact that you didn't take the prompt too seriously. You chose a clever point about which to rant, but with the recognition that it wasn't a major enough issue to deserve an hour on a soap box. Instead, you made your rant concise and to the point, which made it that much more enjoyable. The fact that most anyone reading it can relate to the problem just raises the enjoyment factor.
