I'm way behind, Barbara, and have started to catch up, but might still miss some. So don't worry. I will catch up again if can't read sometimes.

What a tragic story Noah told Sami, I can understand why he doesn't drink anymore. And I can understand why he does what he's doing now. Now to wait and see what the results are for Sarah. :)) Sandra xx

Yes, we needed a deeper look into Noah, but Sami had to be in the frame of mind to hear it and Noah needed to trust her enough to share it. Thank you for the kind review.

I'm back on the road traveling for the last two weeks, but I'm still trying to jump online whenever possible, which has been as often as I'd like. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

Barbara, This is a great chapter, but I am all out of sixes. You used really great dialogue and great descriptive words. I love what's going on with Noah and Sami! I can't wait until it is in book form. I will have to guy one! Have a blessed night my friend! Teri

Don't worry about the six. Virtual sixes are good. I appreciate your review.

I do not look for errors when i read. In poem it is easier, fewer words. :-) This is moving right along. But, Noah was once again, was to quick to accuse Sami of wrong doing. If I were her, that would give me pause. Good writing. Karen

Noah has a lot of issues and Sami understands because she works with teenage girls with similar issues. Thank you for the kind review.

Great story! And what an interesting touch on the subject. I can tell you write quite a bit. This story is very well written and the characters are so life like. You know how to bring a scene about.

Another little bump in the road, but you took care of it before the end of the piece. It's good to see Noah and Sami getting a little closer. Hopefully, Chen will be dealt with shortly.

Hello Barbara,
this was an interesting chapter. I'm surprised that Noah would be so brazen as to reach into Sami's pocket, regardless of the reason. I understand the feelings of jealousy or betrayal that came over him, but he's an agent in a task force, and I would have expected him to have more self control. I suppose he's lucky she didn't respond in a negative manner. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Very little self-control when it comes to Sami. In the rest of his life, yes, but Sami pushes all of his buttons. Thank you for the kind review.

I like how you gave us Noah's background story and why rescuing women from human trafficking is personally important to him.
That Noah feels confident that he can share his deepest secrets with Sami shows us that they are really a couple already.

What a great chapter, Barbara. The small conflicts seems creeping up, but Noah and Sami always finds a way. No wonder, he got freaked out about the pregnancy test as he couldn't possibly be the father. Onto the next chapter. Ulla xcx
