Your Autumn 5-7-5 gives us a realistic picture of what life can be like in an orchard when there is a surplus of fruit and when it starts to rot. The stench can indeed be overwhelming. Love the wordplay in your final line. Rod

Haha this is way more entertaining to read than the sappy harvest bounty entries. This is the reality of growing all the stuff. Wilt, blight and rot is what happens in the fall.

Clever use of "fecund".
