What a solid one-line poem, about a wishy-washy woman! I like that there's kind of alliteration in it. And that it's eight syllables with 4 being about one condition and the other 4 being about the flip-flop.

Hi Ginda,
This seems to imply she didn't stay faithful to her marriage promises.
That is sad.
Congrats on placing third in the contest
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a wonderful weekend
Joan

Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. Yes, today many people say I do, but when it comes down to the everyday life they don't. Good luck with the contest.

This is one of the best monostiches I've seen. It contains a full story that starts out happily and ends tragically. Even without the picture for clarification, I think this would speak for itself. Well done.

That is always so sad. It's hard for people to commit to lifelong partnership as many have some unrealistic views of a fairytale life without the effort to work through difficulties together. Best wishes in the contest!

That is very beautiful and perfect for the one line poem contest. Best of luck with that. Great writing. The picture matches perfectly with your remarkable poem.

This was an excellent monostich poem. You managed to tell a story in just one line of poetry. I also liked the picture you included. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This one-line poem, Broken Promises, uses seven words to depict the sad truth about wedding vows which sometimes hold true, but seventy-five percent of the time do not.
