nice poem about the winter moon. I like the photo chosen. I love the full moon, makes me want to go out and howl at the moon like an escaped bancshee from the mental institute

Your poem creates a haunting image of the winter moon. I love your word choices including "gauzy veil" and "misty halo". Perfect. The closing lines stood out to me as they share that personal discontent with the moon's icy demeanor! What an enjoyable read.

There is much that is good about this poem. Notably when read out loud, the line end rhymes come to the fore, creating balance. It is unfortunate that these are masked at first view of the text. You might want to consider revising the font. kay

I think it's really winter you don't like, not the winter moon. But the winter moon is part of winter, but also independent of winter.
You have her turning things to ice and that may be true although I don't think it is she who freezes is. But she probably wanes during the winter.
It's interesting how the southern hemisphere is having winter right now and we're having summer in the northern atmosphere
I know it has something to do with the position of the son and the strength of the sun. So, even the sun wanes during winter. I find things like that fascinating
I love it when there is a huge moon in the sky in the daytime. I also wonder why that happens. I call it a daytime moon. They always seem to be on the horizon
This poem was well written with some rhyme and no set meter. I found no issues with it.

This is a well-crafted poem and I like the theme and the rhyming. But, I do think it would benefit the rhyme scheme to have defined stanzas. This would aid the reading flow and help the reader easily keep up with scheme.
