Unfortunately, this is the part of life that can really take a toll on you. Our pets are a part of our family as well and it's very hard when we lose them. Good job and good luck. Have a blessed day

This is such a well written and sad senryu. The loss of a pet is a hard thing. Especially if it is because of an error of the owner. There will always be guilt.

Simple. Elegant. Tasteful and relatable. You've got to feel for the toad who's gone his whole day trying to get somewhere but ends up no where. Still, a day of failure is infinitely better than no day at all.
