What a cute poem. I like that its title is sort of the opposite of what one would expect from the prompt of "Happy Poems." However, your poem is absolutely right in that sometimes we do cry tears of joy. I forgot about that!

You brought back memories I used to write almost exclusively, Tanks, and haiku and senryu
If you smile through tears, do you get a rainbow?
Think of it that way that might make a good poem to have a rainbow come through because of tears
Of course, you also have to have some rain clouds in there
You can cry because you're happy as well as because you're sad
I would think something more substantial than going viral on Facebook or swigging beers would make you happy or sad
I hope they're happy tears because this is supposed to be a happy poem
