Hi Elaine.
I like the short lines and stanzas of this poem. It makes each thought seem important and full in itself. I didn't know Godzilla was teaching us to take better care of our planet. All I remember is he killed a lot of people and destroyed a lot of the land while doing do. I'll have to look into the meaning behind the movies.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Yeah. Godzilla has always captured my heart, starting of Raymund Blurr black and white. Don't miss any Godzilla movie, thus far, I was a four year kid seeing that Black and white. A great shout.

I had to smile at your watching Godzilla movies after coming home, exhausted, from the nursing home where you work. I can see where writing poetry is therapy but Godzilla movies? Maybe comparisons to some grouchy old folks? :)

I must admit that I've never seen a Godzilla movie. I thought he was the "bad guy". This poem does a good job of explaining who he is. If he were real, I'm sure he'd thank you for your respect!
