Yeah, I wonder about how many are actual bad dream, could there be something: supernatural occurring other than sleep. I found your statements inspiring: with a twist of humor. All stated in my viewpoint.

This one-hundred-word flash fiction story, Sleep Can be Scary, has the proper word count and finds this boy recovering from the bad dreams that tend to haunt young minds.

Your poem creates a terribly haunting atmosphere that pulled me right into the nightmarish experience. The chilling sound and the cold breath of fear was perfect. What a spine tingling scene! The contrast between the intense fear and the comforting words from a loved one at the end is fantastic. And what a great ending. Terrific contest entry! Good luck!
