Your writing is haunting! I really enjoyed reading your poem. I love the details and your word choices. Such as the way you capture the stillness and the light and shadow. Very creative and very enjoyable to read.

The free verse, Weeping Web, says more to me than just someone left lonely now that her tormentor has gone. The dry and unremoved remains of lunch may very well have been poisoned and the spider may share a description with the late great mother.
